We have a small flock of pedigree Zwartbles sheep.

Our bees forage along the banks of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, which we overlook, and in the fields, cottage gardens and hedgerows of the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The earliest mention of a house on this site was in the mid-1700s. For many years it was a public house called 'The Nightingale' (or sometimes 'The Halfway'), but there has also been a blacksmith's shop, a grocer's store and a carpenter's workshop on the site.

When the renowned Lady Llanover bought the property in the late 1800s, being part of the temperance movement, she closed it down along with all the public houses on her land. For a time it was the home of her agent.

After a long series of tenants we purchased the house in 2020, breathing new love and life into the neglected but beautiful home and gardens.
